Welcome
to Terendipity! I'm Teren MacLeod, and we're delighted to
bring you discovery through exploration throughout Washington's
Olympic Peninsula and beyond. As an educator and community
relations professional I've been involved in environmental
education and awareness for more than ten years.
I
have represented environmental industries to the public, partnered
on developing curriculum, created workshop and training programs,
and worked with a variety of tools designed to help make it
easier to understand the complex relationship between ourselves
and the environment we live in.
I'd
like to invite you to join us in developing community awareness
on a wide range of issues, from salmon habitat enhancement
to solid waste management. We work from a balanced perspective
of understanding that we need to conserve and enhance our
environment through practical stewardship while remembering
that wise use of the earth's resources will better the lives
of everyone, everywhere.
Terendipity
is your point of contact for the Enviroscape®
series of tabletop demonstration models. These unique, patented
models teach pollution prevention practices to people of all
ages. Clicking on the Enviroscape®
logo will take you to our Enviroscape®
Sales site. Not only will you be able to learn more about
the models, but you'll also have a chance to learn more about
how they can be used in your community to enhance environmental
awareness.
We're
located in Port
Townsend, Washington, one of two Victorian seaports
on the USA's National Historic Register. This unique location
offers incredible diversity in the arts, superb wooden boat
building and education, as well as a unique state park and
conference center. Take a look through the PT
Guide, then come visit some day. If you would like
to set up a conference or meeting at the Fort
Worden Conference Center, we're in a unique position
to be able to help you with arrangements.
